Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 8, 2026
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using SNcode ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are between you and SNcode ("we", "us").
2. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SNcode on devices that you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. You may not distribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App without prior written consent.
3. Plans, pricing, and billing
SNcode offers Free, Pro, Max, and Business plans, described on our Pricing page. Prices shown there are exclusive of applicable taxes; VAT, sales tax, or similar charges are calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location.
Paid subscriptions (Pro, Max, Business) are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew each billing period until cancelled. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Your purchase is made with Paddle, not directly with us, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction in addition to these Terms.
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the admin panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access to paid features until then. We do not provide partial-period credits or refunds for unused time, except as required by applicable law — see our Refund Policy.
For Business plan seats: adding a seat is billed immediately on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current billing period. Removing a seat takes effect at the start of the next billing period, without a credit or refund for the remainder of the period in which it was removed.
We may change plan pricing or features at any time. Changes do not affect a billing period you have already paid for and take effect on your next renewal.
When we change the price or features of a plan you are subscribed to, we will notify you before the change takes effect — that is, before your next payment — through at least one of the following channels: an email to the address associated with your account, a banner in the web admin panel, or a banner in the desktop app. The notice will state the new pricing or terms and their effective date, giving you the opportunity to review, downgrade, or cancel before the change applies to your next renewal. Continuing your subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing or plan terms.
4. AI-generated content and human review
SNcode uses large language models (LLMs) to generate code, scripts, queries, and other output. LLMs can and do make mistakes. All code, scripts, queries, and any other AI-generated output must be reviewed by a qualified human before being executed, deployed, or used in a production environment.
We expressly disclaim all liability for errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, data loss, or other consequences arising from AI-generated content that was not independently reviewed and validated by a human operator. You assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on AI output.
5. Third-party AI provider — Anthropic
SNcode routes all AI requests through the Anthropic Claude API. Your use of the AI features is therefore also governed by Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. You agree to comply with those policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or output of the Anthropic API, and your requests are processed subject to Anthropic's own data handling practices.
Using your own Claude subscription. SNcode can also operate through your own Claude Code subscription. If Claude Code is installed on your device, SNcode may invoke it locally through its command-line interface — for example, claude -p "your query" — so that requests run under your own Claude account rather than our Anthropic API access. You are responsible for installing and maintaining Claude Code, for the security of your Claude account, and for complying with the Anthropic terms that govern your subscription. Usage in this mode counts against your own Claude plan and its limits; we do not meter, control, or take responsibility for the availability or output of the Claude Code command-line tool.
6. ServiceNow connectivity
The App connects to ServiceNow instances using credentials you provide. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with your organization's ServiceNow license, access policies, and any applicable data governance requirements. We are not affiliated with ServiceNow, Inc.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing
- Attempt to circumvent usage quotas, authentication, or security controls
- Reverse-engineer or extract model weights or proprietary algorithms from the AI service
- Generate content prohibited by the Anthropic Acceptable Use Policy
- Submit highly sensitive regulated data (e.g., HIPAA-protected health information, payment card data) through the AI chat without appropriate safeguards
8. Data and privacy
Conversation history, credentials, attached files, and ServiceNow instance data are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We collect only your email address, full name, profile photo (received via Google Sign-In), a unique user identifier, aggregate token usage counts, and — for paid plans — subscription and billing status received from Paddle. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Separately, our website uses strictly necessary cookies and — with your consent — Google Tag Manager for analytics, which you can manage or withdraw at any time in the cookie banner. The desktop app itself contains no analytics or tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SNcode and its owner Pavlo Gusar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or any AI-generated output, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid for the App in the six months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your account data held on our servers (email, user ID, token usage records) may be deleted.
12. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
